Garvold

Effective October 29, 2026

Terms of use

These terms are between Chef Nylah's LLC ("we"), a Florida limited liability company in Orlando, FL, and the business that opens a workspace ("you"). There is no street address. They are not terms with your end customers. Your invoices to them are yours.

The customers are chefs and caterers, mainly small businesses in Nigeria, and some in the United States.

The service

Garvold helps a food business record recipes, costs, purchases, events, quotes, invoices, and food-safety temperatures. It is an operational record. It is not a certified accounting system, a payroll system, a point of sale, or a food-safety approval. The numbers are only as good as what was entered, and the product will leave a gap rather than invent a conversion it does not have.

What is not included:

When paid billing is on, a subscription is monthly and paid in advance through a third-party payment processor such as Paystack. We do not store the card number.

The prices, none of which are charged during the free pilot:

PlanNaira, per monthUS dollars, per month
Solo₦20,000US$49
Kitchen₦35,000US$149
Production₦90,000US$399
EnterpriseQuotedQuoted

The naira list is the planned paid list. Production on that list says coming soon. The dollar list is separate, not a conversion of the naira prices. An annual price is also listed. On most tiers that price is ten months. Kitchen on the naira list is ₦336,000 for the year. VAT may apply to the naira prices. No rate is stated.

Accounts

You are responsible for who you invite and for what your staff enter. An invitation works only for the email address it was sent to. Deactivating a person stops their access and keeps the record that they had it.

You own your business data. You give us permission to host it, back it up, and show it to the people in your workspace, and to no other customer.

Plans and cancellation

Published prices, if you are on a paid plan, are the ones on the site at the time you agree. The plans are Solo, Kitchen, Production, and a quoted Enterprise tier.

The trial is 7 days. We may extend a trial for a pilot tester.

You may cancel a paid plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund a partial month, except where the law requires a refund. Nothing in the product charges a card today, so there is no refund button. Ending a workspace does not delete it until the deletion steps in the privacy notice are followed.

We can suspend a workspace that we reasonably believe is being used to attack the service or another customer. We will say why, unless the law tells us not to.

Acceptable use

Do not try to read another business's data, do not upload malware, and do not use the product to store data you have no right to hold. Food-safety records must not be edited to hide a reading. The product refuses that edit. Do not work around it.

Liability and disputes

Our liability for a claim about the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months or US$100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost business, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Orange County, Florida are the venue.

There is no uptime commitment and no service-level agreement. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available.

Ending

You may export your workspace before it is closed. Export does not include receipt photos today. After closure, retention follows the privacy notice. Account data is kept while the workspace is active. We delete or return the rest within 30 days of closure, except food-safety logs, the audit trail, and accounting entries kept because a law or a dispute requires it, billing records kept as tax law requires (typically 7 years), and host backups that roll off within about 30 days. Host and application logs are kept for 90 days or less. The audit trail is not on that 90-day timer.

Changes

We will give 30 days' notice before a material change to these terms takes effect, by email to the workspace owner or by a notice in the product. We will change the date at the top when the text changes, and we will not pretend an older version was accepted if we never asked.

Questions about these terms go to support@garvold.com. Security reports go to security@garvold.com.
